Christmas 2014
We had a nice Christmas and New Year. As usual, it went by way too fast. Some of the fun things we did was go to the Festival of Trees. I love going and checking out all the awesome trees. We made sugar cookies and went to Temple Square. On Christmas Eve, we invited my parents with us to go eat at Texas Roadhouse and then we drove around and looked at lights.

Newman Family Christmas Party
Last night was the Newman Christmas party at Kelly's house. It was a lot of fun. It was on a Sunday evening. We had a yummy dinner of ham and turkey, played games, did a talent show and watched a couple of Christmas messages from the church and also Mr. Krueger's Christmas. It was a really fun time.

Basketball
Basketball season has started again and Noah tried out and made the varsity team at Matheson. He is pretty excited because they are letting him be starting point guard. I wish the season were longer. It's only 6-8 games so it's over by Christmas break. They didn't have that great of a season and only ended up winning 2-3 games. Ironically, their last game was their best game. They hustled and played good offense and defense. They lost but only by 2 points. I would much rather see them play hard like that and do their best even if they lose. Noah got to play almost the whole game of every game so he was pretty excited. The coach doesn't do much subbing so I felt bad for some of the kids that didn't get to play much. Unfortunately I didn't take very many pictures. Noah is #15.

Thanksgiving
We had a nice Thanksgiving. It was all my siblings year to be at my parents so it was kinda crazy but great to have everyone all there together. I realized that I didn't take any photos. Sometimes we just get in the moment of enjoying everyone and forget to capture the moments. Kevin had Thanksgiving with us this year too. It was pretty crowded in my parents house but it was fun and of course we ate way too much food. The one nice thing with Kent not coming around for Noah is I don't have to share the holidays. I enjoy having him with me on all the holidays. We ate a lot and played games. The boys went to the church and played basketball for a little bit. The day after Thanksgiving, we got together and did a little Christmas craft with all the sisters.

Halloween
Halloween isn't quite as fun when you don't have a little one to dress up. We did do a couple of fun Halloween things. We carved pumpkins and did a haunted hayride. We also participated in the schools Zombie 5K. Kevin did it with us too. Noah came in first place in his age group. I think I was pretty close to last. I just walked the whole thing.
