First Day of School

Today was the first day of 6th grade for Noah....I think I'm officially caught up on my blog now. Yay

Last Days of Summer

I can't believe school has started. I feel like we should have another month of summer to go. It seems like we didn't do much, other than our Hawaii trip, which was a lot. Noah did go swimming quite a few times too. This last week before school started, we tried to fit in a few last minute activities. We went to Boondocks, swimming at Magna pool, bowling at Fat Cats and went to the drive in and saw Planet of the Apes. We had a fun week.

Copper Mine

I've been wanting to go check out the Copper Mine for a while now. I've heard other people talk about going and how cool it is so we finally made it out there today. It was pretty cool. We watched a short video about what goes on at the mine and then we walked around the visitors center and outside. It was pretty cool to see.

Parade of Homes

So last week I went with my mom to the parade of homes. I haven't been in years but it was really fun to go and see some of the homes. I mostly like to see how they decorate. One unique thing this year was the Up house. It is a replica of the house in the movie Up. Such a cute movie and I was so surprised at how much the house looked like the real house right down to the mailbox. They even had someone dressed up like the old guy sitting on the porch greeting people. I love the balloons coming out of the chimney. Too cute.
