Our stake put on the production, "Beauty and the Beast" this last week. Two of the main parts were people from my ward. Gaston was played by the second counselor in my bishopric and the girl who played Belle was also from my ward. I just have to say how impressed I was with their talent and the whole cast. They did so awesome and I know they have been working really hard on it for the last few months. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies so I was so excited to see it. It way exceeded my expectations. Noah went to it with me and he liked it a lot to. Here are a few photos.Gaston and Belle (both from my ward)He was so funny playing Gaston. He probably has the funniest part.

Easter
I can't believe Easter has already come and gone this year. Time sure does fly. Noah was out of school for spring break on Thursday, Friday and Monday. I wish the weather would have been better so we could have spent more time outside. My sister, Tara, was in town visiting from Las Vegas so were were able to spend some time with her and Drew. She is 7 months pregnant and is in the uncomfortable phase of the pregnancy. We had fun with her going out to eat, visiting and doing a little shopping. On Thursday, we colored Easter eggs. It gets so messy but Noah loves it. It is one thing I remember my Mom doing with us every Easter and I just loved it so I've tried to do it with Noah every year.
For Easter weekend, Noah was with his Dad and came back Sunday night at 8 p.m. We had an egg hunt at my parents house earlier on Sunday for the grandkids and they all saved Noah's eggs for him to find. It was a little tough finding some of them because it was getting dark but he was able to find them all. My Mom also spoils the grandkids every year and she got each of them a bag with candy, toys and an outfit. Then when we got home, Noah got to see what the Easter bunny brought him. He got the DVD "Bolt", candy and some church clothes. His cousin Daniel got to stay overnight with us on Sunday night and they had a fun time together. I did a FHE lesson this week with Noah explaining to him why we celebrate Easter. We talked about the resurrection of Jesus and how we take the sacrament to remember him. I love Easter time and Spring. Now if the weather can just cooperate, it would be even better.
On Monday, we went and saw "Race to Witch Mountain". It was pretty entertaining and of course The Rock is in it so there is plenty of "eye candy". ha ha!! Noah really liked it. Then on Tuesday, it was back to school again and back to the old routine. Sometimes its nice to just break out of the routine a little and do things different.

Breakfast in Bed
On conference morning, I received a nice surprise from Noah. He brought me breakfast in bed. It was very sweet and cute. He made me 2 slices of toast with butter and brought me a granola bar and yogurt. He said he wanted to put honey on the toast but wasn't sure where the honey was. He had it all arranged on a little tray. I'm surprised he was able to carry it up the stairs without dropping anything. He said he wanted to make me waffles or eggs but wasn't sure how to do that. I told him not to try that next time because he wasn't old enough to be using the stove. I just thought it was a sweet surprise and he asked me if I was going to put it on "our" blog. Sorry, no pics.
